Built to reflect the character of the establishment it's meant to represent, the club 816 website features a dark, stylishly minimal aesthetic. The calendar and many of the on-page elements are generated dynamically and constantly shift and change shape & appearance.

The site also features a live photo feed at the top that can be turned on during the hours of the clubs operation, or feed from a cache during off hours. The site is heavily backend integrated, with a custom built CMS easily managing updates.

A feature rich backend built to easily handle updating of the Club 816 webpage. It features a simple event creation system and calendar manager, a DJ profile management area as well as photo upload and thumbnail cropping capabilities.

The underlying framework is a PHP Model/View/Controller framework (CodeIgniter) and it makes heavy use of MySQL databases and file system storage.

This wordpress template was created from an already existing site design. With the design already produced, I was able to deliver an exceptional turnaround time and a near pixel perfect reproduction of the design.

I added minor improvments in the way in which comments are displayed as to maximize readability. Wordpress is really my get-started-right-away content manager of choice and one that I recommend to many of my blogger clients.

Since the site's creation, we've continuously added features and improved usability. The site recently went through a major revamp when we added an access restricted dealer area as well as a corporate wordpress newsfeed to keep customers better connected.

An ecommerce site enabling direct-to-customer sales using both credit cards and paypal. The application includes a store/shopping cart system with a user database and backend administration tools to process orders, manage products, etc. The site is SEO optimized and includes a suite of ecommerce focused analytics for valuable sales and customer reporting.

A total of 160 shot, tweaked and colour corrected photos were delivered to the client for use in marketing material and web with a turn around of about a week. Small tools were photographed in a lightbox while the larger tools and group shots were shot in a much larger "mini-studio" setup. We wanted to present the tools in a very clean, sharp, and stylishly minimal manner.
